Vendors & Fundraising Policy
Q: Can I set up a booth or food truck at Dutton Fun Day?
A: No. Dutton Fun Day does not allow external vendors, including food trucks, craft booths, or retail setups. The event is a fundraiser, and all proceeds are meant to support community assets like the town pool.
Q: Why aren’t outside vendors allowed?
A: Every dollar raised during Dutton Fun Day goes directly back to the town. Allowing outside sales would shift support away from our mission to fund local recreational projects and community infrastructure.
Q: Does this apply to local businesses or nonprofits?
A: Yes. The policy applies to everyone, whether you’re a business, nonprofit, or individual, unless you're operating directly under the Dutton Fun Day Committee.
Q: Are any exceptions allowed?
A: Rarely. To be considered:
100% of proceeds must go to Dutton Fun Day
Requests must be submitted at least 45 days in advance
The activity must provide a clear community benefit
All exceptions must receive board approval.
Q: Who enforces this policy?
A: The Dutton Fun Day Committee and Board of Directors. Non-approved setups will be asked to shut down and vacate the event area.
Q: How is the public informed?
A: This policy is available on the Dutton Fun Day website, posted at the event, and accessible upon request year-round.
Q: Can I still support the event in other ways?
A: Yes! Donations of goods, services, or sponsorships are always welcome and help the day run smoothly. Contact the committee to get involved.
Q: Who should I contact about exceptions or questions?
A: Reach out to the Dutton Fun Day Committee or a board member. We’re happy to help clarify or explore how you can contribute.
